Add SHA256 & SHA512 Full Disk Hash capability

SHA256 is now the bare minimum has required by government entities for most applications. Would be very useful to be able to do a full – disk hash using SHA256 and soon SHA512.

“SHA256 is now the bare minimum has required by government entities for most applications” : I wouldn’t say SHA256 is a bare minimum. SHA-1 is used by many governments and considered typically acceptable, but I do agree SHA256 and SHA512 would be useful for many users. It is already on my To Do list. Thanks for the suggestion for sure.

As of v2.8.0 (code in Github…just need to get it compiled as an exe) you can now hash disks using MD5, SHA-1, SHA256, SHA512, MD5 and SHA-1 combined or SHA-1 and SHA256 combined. Hope that is of assistance. Maybe you can try out when it is released in a few days?
