File count difference falsely reported as 0

“the program is correct reporting a mismatch when one file is different”
There is an important difference between the CONTENT of one file being actually different, and the file COUNT being different.
When you say the program incorrectly reports 0 for File Count Difference, are you sure the file count was different, or was it merely that one file was different in terms of its content? If the latter, then the problem is not QH but merely a mis-understanding. If the former, then I can look into it f

Some additional improvements have been made in v2.7.0 (to be released very soon) which may address this issue and similar ones. I am also still not sure the original report was made with a full understanding of how QH does what it does. That said, I have now fixed some irregularities in the Compare Directories tab, as well as adding some new features.
