File selector control on "Copy" pane should include network shares not just local disks

Every other selector allows the user to pick a network drive/share from the navigator pane, except the “Copy” panel’s selector which only allows local drives. A selector should be used that allows navigation to the “Network” part of the tree.

(Note the UNC option isn’t the same as it’s not browseable, it’s more for direct copy/paste of a path so it’s no solution)

I take your point. I’ll look at changing for the future. Though it should be noted that the user can also copy and paste the network path into the that dialog too (at the bottom) but I appreciate that is the same as having to copy and paste into the UNC mode path. You mean network paths should be listed as a treeview in the dialog too, I think.

I looked into this, and the only practical way to do it (without changing the entire interface of that tab) is to re-write the treeview component that is used there. Though that’s not impossible, it’s too much work for what you are asking for, given that the functionality to just paste UNC shares already exists in that pane….just not in an explorable way, I accept.
