Steps:
1) Select compare directories
2) specify UNC and local share to compare. Where every share has a lot of files like 260k in my case
3) Run Compare now

Actual result:
Comparison ran into the error (sorry I clicked OK with proceed, but can’t find after that the error – no logs files).
It shows only 4 of 260411 files for dir A (or B).
It shows only 487 of 259833 files for dir B (or A).
It mess up dir content – files from A go B and vice versa.
Can’t save/copy comparison results

I can’t really work with that. It all sounds a bit chaotic.

Comparison ran into the error : if an error is reported during the scan, it is most likely due to a file(s) being open somewhere meaning QH can’t get a valid handle to it.
It shows only 4 of 260411 files for dir A (or B). : If it’s only found 4 files, something is preventing QH traversing the folder
It shows only 487 of 259833 files for dir B (or A) : If it’s only found 487 files, something is preventing QH traversing the folder
It mess up dir content – files from A go B and vice versa. : Unlikely. QH doesn’t MOVE files in that tab. It just reads the files in FolderA and compares to FolderB. So files from Folder A cannot go to Folder B or visa versa.
Can’t save/copy comparison results : Because it’s failed at the onset with a fatal error preventing it traversing your folder tree.

    What OS?
Have you tried mounting the UNC paths as drive letters temporarily? The comparison tab is really only designed for local drive access. Not UNC paths.
