A user has explained why it may be helpful in some instances to be able to choose whether the hash output is lower OR uppercase, particularly for text based hashing, rather than the default output of uppercase.

    Update on this….v3.0.0 of QuickHash (which is a major re-write of the program to include SQLite for much better versatility and rapid sorting, filtering etc), when released, will have a tick box in the “Text” and “File” tabs to allow the user to “switch case”. Basically, it will convert and uppercase value to lower and a lowercase hash to upper.

    As I say, this will be included as part of the v3.0 release, which I hope to have out by the end of 2017.
