QuickHash v3.0.2 Linux (PreCompiled)
This is the 32 and 64 bit version of QuickHash-GUI v3.0.2 for Linux. It includes the user manual, and both 32 and 64 bit binaries ready to use. Ensure you grant executable permissions to the binaries after extracting from the zip file using
chmod +x QuickHash-Linux-x86
or
chmod +x QuickHash-Linux-x64
Note: They are architecture dependant. So you can only use the 64-bit version on 64-bit Linux operating systems and the 32-bit version will only work on 32-bit operating systems. They will work on GUI based distributions such as Ubuntu, Mint, Zorin, etc but not command line only distributions like server editions.
After download, check the hashes before execution using sha1sum and/or sha256sum at the terminal. The values should be:
SHA1 Hashes

Isn’t there an easier way to install this QuickHash??
a) v3.0.2 is an older version. v3.0.4 is the current stable.
b) Downloading and running a pre-compiled binary for Linux is about as easy as it can get for Linux. Download it, make sure it is executable (either right click and check execute for permissions or use chmod +x in the command line) and then double click it. Or, download the Debian package (http://34.225.163.28/download/quickhash-v3-0-4-debian-packages-for-linux/), double click it, allow it to install, and it will be in your menu. Easy.
