If you do not want to use the compiled binaries, which you can run as standalone executables of QuickHash on Linux, you can instead download and install these Debian packages for your system. This ensures that QuickHash is displayed in your main menu and executable from the terminal simply by typing the quickhash command.
To install a Debian package in Ubunut, Linux Mint and so on, one typically can either just double click it and the software manager will install it, or you can execute the following command line :
sudo dpkg -i NameOfDebianPackage.deb
